The Gengras Center, is actively seeking energetic, outgoing, and passionate individuals to become Paraprofessional / Teaching Assistants.
As a member of the Gengras Center team, the Paraprofessional / Teaching Assistant will provide a supportive / engaging learning environment and instructional assistance within the classroom for individuals as well as general supervision and management of the students.

Extensive related experience may be considered in lieu of education. Prior experience with children in a school setting; special education preferred, but not required. Ability to follow teacher direction and written plans, and work effectively in a team setting to meet individual student needs. Appropriate organizational and oral / written communication skills. Willingness to work with necessary office or classroom equipment / technology. Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
