Responsibilities
• Responds to calls in a timely manner• Assists and supports public safety personnel and other healthcare providers• Performs assessments and utilizes critical thinking to determine treatment• Modifies and delivers care specific to patient needs• Obtains essential data and performs thorough physical examinations• Keeps patients comfortable during transport• Operates vehicles safely and professionally• Completes vehicle and equipment checks• Maintains documentation and completes patient care reports• Maintains and troubleshoots EMS equipment and supplies
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent• Introduction to Incident Command System and National Incident Management System• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficient computer skills• Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic Certification• Valid Driver's License• CEVO or EVOC training• Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
