Our client, a prestigious law firm in the Brazos Valley, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join their team. With a focus on real estate and banking law, the firm prides itself on delivering exceptional legal services to its clients. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting attorneys with legal matters related to real estate and banking law. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the firm's operations. Responsibilities Conduct legal research on real estate and banking law matters
Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings
Assist attorneys in case preparation and trial proceedings
Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals
Provide administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to real estate and banking law
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills Experience with real estate transactions and banking regulations
Familiarity with document management systems Education Bachelors Experience 1-4 years Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
Previous experience working as a Paralegal, preferably in real estate and banking law
Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources
Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Paralegal certification
