Primary Activities/Duties :
Work with the Surface Treatment team to process unpainted work, rework, and special color parts through the finishing systems. Program and operate the automatic equipment used in automatic booths. Monitor the coating quality from the paint systems. Meet and exceed customer specifications. Clean and maintain all paint-related equipment and work areas. Operate and maintain all paint application and delivery equipment used in both the manual and automatic spray booths for the application of both standard and special color coatings. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Experience :
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred, but not required. Moderate knowledge of powder paint equipment and powder paint applications required. E-Coat experience preferred. Physical Requirements :
Stand in paint booth occasionally throughout work shift. Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift. Frequently walk up and down stairs or ladder. Grasp hand tools including paint application/delivery equipment. Frequently work overhead. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders. Benefits available the 1st of the month following hire date!!
