Responsibilities
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint coatings to plant structures, equipment, and parts• Perform sandblasting to remove substances from surfaces• Set up and operate painting and blasting equipment• Use power suspended scaffolds and ladders• Mix paint to specifications• Read and understand coating manuals and safety data sheets
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience as a Painter in an Industrial environment and/or Power Plant• Proficiency in manual and mechanical paint removal methods• High School diploma or GED
