Job Description Prepare and apply industrial coatings per drawings and manufacturers' specifications Prepare part surfaces for coatings per drawings and work instructions Mask parts per drawings to protect areas against overspray Care and maintenance of spray equipment and spray booths Experience with a film thickness measuring and adhesion test equipment Experience with part marking to finished parts using various inks and stamping methods Protective wrapping and packaging of finished parts FOD control Maintain paint storage cabinets for inventory and product shelf-life Ability to read and understand drawing technical data and manufacturers' work instructions Accurate recording of job-related test results and technical data Minimum Skills and Competencies Attention to detail is a must. A minimum of 5 years of experience using CARC, waterborne, and various catalyzed primers and paints will be required. Use of PPE equipment will be required. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Qualifications Previous body work experience highly preferred Must be eligible for and able to maintain a Secret Clearance Pre-employment drug screening requirement Physical Demands and Work Environment Exposure to fumes, odors, and dust. Exposure to booth and ventilation fan noise. Respirator and other protective equipment required. Standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 50 lbs. required.
