Woof's Play & Stay is now hiring closing shift Packleaders for our East Wichita location! Woof's is now hiring energetic and fun-loving people who enjoy working with animals. This job comes with a pay rate starting around $10.00 per hour based on experience, and you can bring your pet to work! Packleaders can bring up to 2 dogs for free DayPlay when they're on duty. You'll work with friendly teammates in a supportive, happy, work environment.
Qualifications: Dog or animal experience preferred, but not required Customer service experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and bend repetitively Ability to lift and carry dogs and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Availability to work some weekends and holidays Availability to work closing shift; 2:00-7:30pm Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to work while continuously on your feet showing the dogs attention and care Proactively address behavior in a timely manner with approved methods. Woof's has zero-tolerance for mishandling of animals or using non-approved animal management methods Continually monitor dogs in both indoor and outdoor play yards Keep the play areas free of messes and clean up after dogs' bodily functions Follow standard cleaning procedures including proper use of chemicals to ensure a safe environment for animals and people Understand and follow the feeding, medication, and allergy lists to ensure that all health standards are met consistently Work cohesively and respectfully with your teammates Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of your position including room management and customer service Pay & Perks: Pay starting at $10.00 per hour based on experience Pay raises every 90 days Career development opportunities with Woof's Play & Stay Free DayPlay for your dogs (up to 2) when you're on duty 401(k) retirement plan & company match for employees 21 and older Company Introduction Woof's Play and Stay provides fun, top-notch doggy daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
