Must have Washington State Security Certification.The 150-room AC by Marriott Hotel opened in June 2022, featuring 7,000 sq ft of event space (all with river view), restaurant and lounge with outdoor seating, and spectacular views of the Columbia River.If you have the talent, experience and attitude for a dynamic Overnight Security, we invite you to join our team.DutiesPatrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of premises.Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns.Conduct regular surveillance of premises using CCTV cameras and other security equipment.Ability to evaluate situations and request assistance from local authorities when needed.Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Washington security certificate/licenseFirst aid/CPR certification preferredPrior experience in loss prevention, surveillance, law enforcement, or military is a plusStrong communication skills and ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionallyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust pass a background check and drug screeningNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
