Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for Outside Plant (OSP) Field Survey Engineers in Shreveport, LA.
This is a long-term position and you must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
The OSP Field Survey Engineer is responsible for performing inspection and verification of Outside Plant Fiber Networks to include construction elements such as conduit, fiber, splice case locations, cabinets & pole analysis.

Outside Plant (OSP) Field Survey Engineers The OSP Field Survey Engineer is responsible for performing inspection and verification of Outside Plant Fiber Networks to include construction elements such as:
Conduit Fiber Splice Case Locations Cabinets Pole Analysis You will perform site visits to document field conditions for new sites and site modification projects.
Conduct site or pole surveys, utilizing OSP field equipment, such as Drop Stick, Flash Stick and measuring wheels.
You must have solid Fielding experience on OSP systems, including Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) deployments.
This includes aerial and underground fiber optic systems, cable placement, heavy and aerial make ready tasks.
