We are currently seeking a skilled Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission of excellence.
Position Overview: As an Orthodontic Patient Care Coordinator at "APDO", you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Engagement: Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar, schedule consultations, and follow-up appointments with precision, adapting to unique needs or requests of patients or parents.
Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members in person, over the phone, and through email and text to address inquiries, concerns, and scheduling needs.
Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Billing and Payments: Handle financial transactions, and assist with payment plans as needed.
Patient Education: Provide basic information about orthodontic treatments and procedures, as well as triaging orthodontic issues or emergencies via phone
Problem Solving: Address and resolve patient concerns or issues in a professional and empathetic manner.

Requirements Previous experience in a medical or dental coordinator role preferred but not required
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using or learning office software and scheduling systems.
Knowledge of dental or orthodontic terminology is a plus.
Ability to maintain a professional and polished appearance.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
