Shift: 8am - 4pm or until work is completed
Schedule: Monday to Friday, an occasional weekend may be required during peak seasons
Hourly Pay Rate: $18 - $21
Experience: One or more years' experience coordinating shipments in a warehousing or distribution environment Must be able to pass post-offer on-boarding requirements which include: hair and urine drug screen, background check, pre-employment physical exams which may include physical – lifting, pushing and pulling, and the ability to be forklift certified after 90 days of employment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all duties of the Packer position. Will arrive to work on time in appropriate work attire. Respond to all emails in a prompt and professional manner. Maintain supplies, order bags, boxes, plastic film, pallet covers, toner cartridges and stretch wrap. Verify the duties of the Packers and Warehouse order pickers are being carried out to expectation. Make suggestions for improvements when necessary. Develops and Implement Guidelines and SOP's. Compare and inspect physical items pulled to the requirements of the pick ticket/order. Transport orders to shipping locations/bins/docks using the proper material handling equipment. Satisfy the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly output and accuracy metrics. Willingness to cooperate with peers to accomplish work assignments and maintain effective working relationships; demonstrate respect and consideration for others' opinions; contribute to the overall task of the team. Communicate with Warehouse Manager any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties. Keep packing area clean and organized. Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse. Performs other duties or tasks as required. Requirements: A high school qualification or equivalent. Strong computer skills. English fluency is essential. Use RF guns and other electronic equipment, as necessary. Must be able to work in an environment which has extremes in temperatures, both hot and cold. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs pounds. Excellent organization and administrative skills. Must be able to constantly bend, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift.
