Coleytown Middle School is searching for an orchestral music teacher to join a talented team of music educators. The string program at Coleytown includes approximately 125 students in three grade-level ensembles. There is also an auditioned chamber orchestra that rehearses before school. Qualifications: CT Certification Required (049);
Successful teaching experience in a high-performing music program with a history of exemplary performance; Ability to nurture a culture of inclusion, self-expression, and passion in music for all students; and Record of collaboration within their own school and across the string discipline, demonstrating their ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including colleagues, parents, school administration, and the community-at-large.
