Full job description Oracle / Exadata DBA Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (Open to Remote)
Qualification :
Bachelor's in Science/ Commerce/Engineering or equivalent Proven experience in Oracle Database and Oracle Linux Administration is required. Strong understanding of payer and claims processes particularly in Medicare & Medicaid is essential. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and provide effective solutions. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of infrastructure operations. Responsibility :
Oversee the daily operations of our Oracle Database and Linux environments to ensure optimal performance and security. Implement and manage database structures storage policies and security features in line with best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure needs and deliver scalable solutions. Conduct regular system audits to identify and rectify potential issues before they impact operations. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations processes and service records. Lead the design and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems. Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in database and Linux administration to drive continuous improvement. Provide expert guidance on the integration of payer and claims systems focusing on Medicare & Medicaid claims processing. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to healthcare data. Manage project timelines resources and budgets to meet organizational goals. Must Have Skills Oracle Linux Administration Oracle Database Administration Claims Medicare & Medicaid Claims Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $[52,000.00 – 121,000.00] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
