Website: This OR Inventory Specialist opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. This dynamic individual's primary responsibility is to manage inventory replenishment within the OR, PACU, DSU, to include all stock and non-stock items. This position works directly with OR staff to ensure appropriate inventory levels for all service lines, maintains contract compliance while minimizing procurement expense.
Job duties/Responsibilities: Coordinates orders of medical supplies in collaboration with the clinical lead staff, etc.
Reviews the next weeks schedule daily to ensure any needed special order items are available for surgical cases; coordinated special order items with the board runner.
Acts as the primary liaison with vendors to ensure availability and contracted pricing is met.
Effectively works with UHS Corporate IS and Purchasing staffs to implement, troubleshoot and purchase systems.

Qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience working in a Healthcare Supply Chain Department, either in inventory, purchasing or scheduling. Operating room supply chain experience a plus. EEO Statement
