An ideal candidate will have superb refracting skills, scleral lens experience, interest in outcome analysis and research, dry eye therapy and keratoconus management. A Mercy Eye Specialists provider will consistently interface with patients, surgeons and need to possess strong communication skills. A passion for education is highly desired. Our eye care team in Springfield consists of nine ophthalmologists and five optometrists. Retina, glaucoma, cornea, refractive, neuro, and pediatric subspecialties are all well-represented. Optos Camera, Autorefractor, ERG, OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, Fundus Camera, Cassini, B scan, Zeiss Forum Dedicated eye surgery center, performing 6000+ surgeries annually. OR suites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as femtosecond laser, superior microscope technology with live OCT, heads up display and more.
