Responsibilities
• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience• Determine patient wants and needs• Assist patients in selecting frames• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer• Educate and recommend specific lenses and frames• Collect measurements and dispense patient orders• Repair and adjust patient frames• Assist with general office duties and cleaning• Acknowledge patients in a friendly, approachable way• Maintain frame standards
Requirements
• Associates Degree or equivalent• Minimum 1 year in a customer interactive position• Basic computer skills• Communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to read and analyze insurance forms• Favorable result on Background Check• Must have own vehicle and be insured, licensed driver• Must be at least 18 years of age
Key Skills Needed
• ABOC certification preferred• Ability to read and interpret documents• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence• Ability to speak effectively before groups• HIPAA compliance• Physical requirements: bending, lifting, carrying, reaching• Problem solving and reasoning skills• Ability to meet customer expectations• Ability to work under stress and deadlines• Computer proficiency
