Responsibilities
• Align and implement sustainable training processes and standards• Oversee the continued development of Training GM's and Management Teams in Certified Training Restaurants• Conduct annual certifications for Certified Training Restaurants• Assist with implementation and ongoing development of the Manager in Training (MIT), Shift Leader, and Certified Trainer Programs• Follow-up on Managers in MIT Program• Communicate and maintain good professional relationships with Management Teams• Conduct restaurant visits with support from Area Directors to provide insight and ongoing operational/training development• Assist Area Directors and provide direction in the successful implementation of new Menus, Hospitality and Salesmanship Programs, LTO rollouts, etc.• Ensure effective and efficient implementation of corporate initiatives by influencing and developing scalable strategies that yield positive outcomes• Assist with the updating, development, and design of training content and programs for the LMS platform using SCORM authoring tools and Articulate Storyline• Support the LMS administrator(s) with testing and rollout of content, platform enhancements, report sharing, and general system functionality
Requirements
• Four-year degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience may also be considered.• 5+ years of experience in a General Manager or training professional role in a restaurant environment• Outstanding leadership skills, team-collaboration mindset, and ability to motivate a diverse team• Experience administering and facilitating virtual instructor-led learning through MS Teams, WebEx, GoTo Meeting, and other similar technologies.• Knowledge of LMS platform functionality and SCORM authoring tools• Must be able to support the design, development, and delivery of training to a wide variety of audiences and experience levels• Outstanding leadership skills, team-collaboration mindset, and ability to motivate a diverse team• Possesses exceptional Guest service and verbal/written communication skills• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Teams• Strong problem solving, decision making, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to drive outcomes of concurrent priorities• Experience with facilitation of group discussions in a classroom-style setting for audiences ranging from 5-200.• Demonstrated ability to motivate themselves and others and create an environment for self-learning and teaching others• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary efforts• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and utilize organizational skills to meet deadlines and accomplish a variety of projects concurrently• Experience in the areas of adult learning, assessment, design, documentation, delivery, and evaluation• Experience in providing one-on-one coaching, corrective guidance, and/or ongoing performance discussions• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
