Operations Specialist

with organizational and problem-solving superpowers to support our work as we prepare to serve more survivors in greater ways.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
• Create and distribute operational procedures and protocols.
• Communicate and coordinate with employees, vendors, and other community partners to support and strengthen the agency's operational matters.
• Onboard and offboard employees, working with supervisors and the finance department.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure adherence to protocols across all key operational matters.
• Contribute toward the achievement of SafeHouse Denver's strategic and operational objectives.
• Monitor and manage inventory and order supplies, coordinating with the finance department to adhere to budget.
• Coordinate with program and development staff to meet agency reporting requirements.
•Work with various staff to streamline compliance, internal control, and reporting requirements.
•Ensure operations meet grant requirements as well as legal, local, and national regulations.
•Develop, plan, and coordinate operational activities, including general repair and maintenance projects.
•Receive updates from various staff and prepare reports for CEO.
• Organize/coordinate

meetings as requested.
•Serve as a subject matter expert on creating operational efficiencies throughout the agency.
•Maintain and properly communicate a calendar of events, key meetings, and deadlines throughout the agency.
•Manage the agency's infrastructure (e.g., internet & phone systems, equipment, and utilities) for proper operations.
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Required: Preferred:
Thorough, meticulous, and an effective problem-solver.
Bachelor's Degree
Three or more years of experience in an operational support or similar role.
Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
Previous project management experience and proven organizational and time management abilities.
Experience coordinating across departments and demonstrating strong outcomes.
Strong technical aptitude with advanced proficiency in utilizing MS Office.
Ability to work in a diverse environment.
Passion for the SafeHouse Denver mission.
A solid understanding of how people and organizations change and the ability to be adaptable.

•Competitive Pay: $25-30 hourly rate, full-time position, non-exempt, with annual performance evaluations and an opportunity for merit-based increase
