Works as a relief operations supervisor and has oversight of the training program at La. Station.
Job Responsibilities- Directs, plans and coordinates the activities and functions of the on shift operating personnel to ensure safe and reliable unit operations; - Ensure that units are operated within the federal, state and city regulations and Ethos Energy procedures;- Constantly analyzes plant and equipment performance, and directs adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability;- Directs the removal and return to service of equipment, as requested, for maintenance purposes and in accordance with established Hold-off and Work Permit and Work Order procedures;- Evaluates operating procedures as required and revises same or recommends revisions depending upon scope of change required;- Evaluates operating complement within the station and recommends changes toward improving its functional efficiency;- Recommends the formulation of operating procedures as required to obtain maximum equipment reliability, economy, safety and maximum manpower efficiency;- Administers the company-union contract, operating procedures, and facility's directives and operating Procedures;- Ensures that operator training is ongoing to maintain the highest skill level of operators;- Applicants are expected to be proactive in supporting their crew and able to work as a team member.- Responsible for sites training program including all system reviews, field walkdowns, facilitating all board reviews and job qualification reviews.-Track all operations procedure revisions and train operations shifts -Manage sites training budgetRequired Skills / Knowledge- Applicants must be able to work shift work and over 40 hours per week, incidental and prolonged;- Must effectively supervise others;- Must be able to wear a respirator.- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites(Excel,Word,Etc)
