Job Summary:Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager at the Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-International Dr. North is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, and driving business success. This is a full-time, salaried management position within the hospitality and restaurant industry, located in Orlando, Florida.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this position includes a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan.Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of all departments within the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction are consistently met and maintained.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective operations.Train and supervise staff members, providing ongoing development and performance coaching.Monitor and manage budgets and expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and purchasing.Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue, identify new business opportunities, and maintain positive relationships with guests.Manage guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety and security protocols.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and new technology advancements to ensure the hotel remains competitive.Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Must be able to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods.EEOC statement:The HILTON property at Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-International Dr. North is an equal opportunity employer.
