This position is a full-time, hourly role in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located in Columbus, Ohio. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the hotel to ensure efficient and seamless operations.Compensation & Benefits:The compensation for this role is a range from $18-$20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, the successful candidate will have access to a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts at Marriott hotels worldwide.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage servicesTrain and supervise staff and ensure they are delivering exceptional customer service at all timesDevelop and implement standard operating procedures and ensure they are followed by all staff membersMonitor and manage hotel inventory to minimize costs and maximize revenueEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean working environmentCollaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenueHandle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional mannerOversee and manage the hotel budget, including expenses and revenueConduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and supportMaintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts and pricing as neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferredMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hotel operations or management roleStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and train a teamProficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management softwareKnowledge of budgeting, financial management, and revenue managementExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and ability to handle difficult situations with easeMust be able to work weekends and holidays as neededEEOC Statement:Fairfield Inn by Marriott Columbus/New Albany, OH is an equal opportunity employer.
