Kelly® Technology/Kelly OCG is hiring an Operations Manager & Site Coordinator for a direct hire position with a top semiconductor company in Hillsboro, Oregon. Operations Manager and Site Coordinator Hillsboro, Oregon Pay Starts: $72,800 + DOE Full benefits + PTO This is a unique OM position, that will consist of the following:
Operations Manager for an onsite branch of 4 employees, which may be increasing to 12 by July. This team will not require direct/hands-on operational support and may also have a Kelly Lead in place that would act as the liaison between the Kelly Operations Manager and Kelly team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, timecard/time off approvals, customer invoicing, employee engagement activities (performance documentation/discussions), sync meetings with customer/stakeholders and monthly metrics submission.
Operations Manager for 5 Project Services contracts, with a total of 6 employees. These are project-based employees working at various client sites in Oregon/California. These contracts/employees will not require direct/hands-on operations support and receive their direction from the customer, rather than a Kelly Lead/Operations Manager. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, timecard/time off approvals, customer invoicing, employee engagement activities (performance documentation/discussions) and sync meetings with customer/stakeholders. There are no metrics.
Safety Coordinator: As the HF Safety Coordinator, you will partner with another coordinator to host Monthly Safety meetings for OMs, Directors, and Site Ops support. You will also participate in all safety related incidents and provide guidance for incidents that occur at other locations. This is typically a volunteer role; however, you will be required to be active in this role for 1 year. This provides significant training opportunities for getting to know the local Kelly Leaders (especially your Peers), learning about the sites that we all manage together, becoming well versed in Kelly's AbsoluteZero policies etc. After 1 year, we will find a volunteer successor, or you may continue in the role (with your Manager's approval).
KEEP Coordinator: KEEP stands for Kelly Employee Engagement Program to provide recognition, rewards, activities, and appreciation events that are above and beyond what Kelly provides as a baseline. This is unique to this organization and when operating at its fullest capacity, requires a dedicated resource to ensure things keep moving forward and are executed timely. Provide planning support, input, resources, budget guidance and participation in all activities. Activities may include, but are not limited to, whiteboard shoutouts (virtual), Meet the Team Announcements for new hires, Monthly National Day celebrations, Onsite/Offsite Employee Appreciations Events (such as Friendsgiving, Summer Bash, Halloween Party). This is typically a volunteer role; however, you will be asked to maintain this indefinitely, unless otherwise directed by your manager.
QUALIFICATIONS: Leadership and Management experience.
Management experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
Ability to manage a manufacturing floor- make sure production is flowing well.
Excellent organizational and math skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Familiar with current team building practices and techniques.
Strong negotiating ability with customer requests.
Ability to manage multiple projects and departments.
Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions.
Business Degree or 3 to 5 years equivalent related experience.
