TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator - Service/Repair in Birmingham, ALResponsible for performing administrative duties for the service operations departmentEnsures department functions efficiently and cost effectively

Responsibilities
• Performs Install Base maintenance as needed• Updates on-call lists and notifies Dispatch daily• Checks technicians in/out and communicates information to Dispatch and supervisors• Provides status updates to National Accounts and customers• Acts as liaison between branch operations and regional dispatch• Maintains shared calendars for dispatch with field attendance and work scheduling• Tracks Operations systems and tool audits• Assists mechanics with IT downloads, ordering brochures, and tools• Assists managers with safety meetings• Completes manual payroll entry forms, parts requisitions, and receives parts• Performs research and review for Service Manager• Sends down payment checks to regional Accounts Receivable• Monitors safety inspection tickets and assigns tickets to mechanics• Compiles data/information for legal purposes• Prepares badging applications and special reports for customers• Reviews Work in Progress report and invoice on-hold reports• Opens and distributes mail and faxes• Codes local Accounts Payable invoices and manages vehicles
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred• Three to six months related experience in basic business administration• Some elevator repair administrative work preferred• Knowledge of Oracle database
