Operations Clerk

Operations Clerk 2 Location Rome, GA : This is a role supporting the production and operations environment at a small-medium manufacturing business by taking on responsibilities and completing projects in a range of areas including, but not limited to: delivery scheduling, production data entry, and engineer communications. This role reports to the Manager Operations Support. This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities Interface with Logistics/Production team on job scheduling
Enter jobs to be built into production software
Communicate areas of importance back to design team
Grow working knowledge of Wheelers? manufacturing process
Optimize jobs to best utilize available materials
Facilitate the internal moving of building materials
Qualifications High school diploma and further education
Bilingual preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong keyboard and data entry (3+ years preferred)
Timely and consistent attendance
High attention to detail and accuracy
Computer skills in Office products, web services, reporting software
Ability to work 40 hour work week
Ability to regularly lift up to 25lbs
Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
