Operations Assistant needed in San DiegoResponsible for day-to-day operation activities including shipping, receiving, inventory upkeep, loading and/or packing, and equipment managementCreate a positive impact to ensure productivity, excellent customer service, and efficient operations

Responsibilities
• Follow established shipping practices• Perform shipping activities and generate mailing labels and shipping documents• Pull product for orders and complete packaging• Pack goods in shipping containers according to IATA guidelines• Keep accurate records of all shipments• Perform cycle counts and update inventory accordingly• Maintain safety stock and trigger re-ordering• Audit storage and staging areas• Prepare purchase requests and receive materials into the system• Schedule calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment• Support facility maintenance and maintain clean workspaces• Support hazardous waste management and disposal• Ensure facility compliance with fire safety regulations• Follow implemented filing systems• Assist in planning and execution of company events
Requirements
• High School education required• 3 years previous shipping and receiving experience required• 1-2 years experience in inventory management/setup
