The Operations Assistant will offer reliable support to the Operations Team and help improve efficiency checking drivers in at the end of day, close out routes and tickets on a daily basis. Working for GFL is more than a job — it's an opportunity to grow in your career, make new friends, and make a difference each day.*Key Responsibilities:*Check drivers in at the end of day, reconcile routes and disposal tickets on a daily basis.Complete and maintain a variety of reports as directed by supervisor/manager.Communicate to supervisors and/or managers about operations, routes, paperwork, disposal tickets.Use of software and programs to manage a variety of reports.Assist in the collection of paperwork, organize, and complete reports as directed.Assist in attendance and productivity reporting.Communicate to drivers and supervisors as needed.Communicate department related information daily.Perform other duties as designate.Assist Roll Off dispatchers.Assist with time off coverage.Communicate service issues to customers in a timely manner.Scale Attendant.*Requirements*Excellent communication skills; ability to maintain a professional relationship with drivers, fellow employees and customers.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi task in a fast-pace environment.Ability to pay attention to detail; accuracy with data entry.Proficiency with the use of computers and applications and ability to run reports (MS Office, Tower, Workday Payroll Systems).High school diploma.Prior experience in waste industry a plus.Fast learner; flexible, and resourceful.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Works well in a team-oriented environment.#GFLTalentWe thank you for your interest.
