Today, we are an inclusive, multi-lingual and immigrant-led nonprofit serving new refugees and immigrants including Minnesota's Asian, East and West African, and Latinx communities, as well as underserved US born communities. Essential Job Functions:
Front Desk Reception and Administration* 60% Provide prompt, courteous, welcoming, and efficient service to visitors, guests, employees and telephone callers. Have an opportunity to shadow other CAPI departments, gain an understanding of all programming offerings. Stay up to date on CAPI current program offerings, and direct guests to the appropriate programs/staff. Keep lobby, receptionist desk, and conference rooms clean and organized; presentable in a brand- appropriate manner at all times. Help with any on-site program related events such as trainings, distributions (Fresh Produce Thursdays, Farmers Market, etc.), or any other CAPI events. Team Responsibilities - 25% Keep up to date with program offerings in the greater community. Be able to provide referrals for services outside of CAPI. Adhere to proper confidentiality practices and complete yearly MN Department of Human Services Data Privacy trainings. Serve as a strong team player, supporting CAPI's mission and strategic imperatives. Attend and actively participate in team, department, and all staff meetings. CAPI Operations - 10% Assist in the implementation of new procedures.
