Compensation: Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Regular Grade: E02 Position Summary Under general supervision, the Operational Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting departmental functions. Key responsibilities include providing analytical support for financial and operational matters, reviewing data collection and analysis to identify control deficiencies, and optimizing daily business activities. The incumbent collaborates with individuals across all organizational levels, serving as a subject matter expert for external processes such as travel coordination and reimbursement, human resource activities including on and off boarding of staff, purchase order and invoice processing, and various departmental tools and processes. Attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous operational improvement are essential. Duties & Responsibilities Assists in Planning, developing, and organizing systems for documenting departmental projects, initiatives, and workflows to ensure consistent and efficient operation of the Administration department. Works in collaboration with department leadership to create and maintain departmental databases; generate reports from the record keeping system for assigned areas. Updates and maintains the vendor, contractor, and supplier management system to ensure timely, proactive contract renewals. Conducts research and Identify trends to generate statistical reports for planning and decision making, which include coordinating data collection and analysis, tabulating data, presenting collected information in various formats, ensuring data integrity, and make recommendations for quality and process improvement. Provides overall professional support to the department to achieve optimal work production across the organization, including the creation of planning documents and presentations and developing information to support institutional decision-making. Serves as a subject matter expert for external processes such as travel coordination and reimbursement, human resource activities including on and off boarding of staff, purchase order and invoice processing, and various business operational processes. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree and three (3) years of related Experience or Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications :
In depth knowledge of Excel, Visio, Power Point (Smartsheet is helpful) Experience with Vendor Management Experience in one, or a combination of, human resources, bookkeeping, auditing. Capable of evaluating internal processes and proposing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues.
