ASR International Corporation, has an opportunity for an Operations Analyst I.
The Operations Analyst will provide support for Fleet Surface Combatants, Auxiliary and Amphibious ships, Aircraft Carriers and Submarine New Acquisition and Sustainment Logistics efforts. In conjunction with MARMC C210 product support codes, this support includes 3-M system software and Assessment software support, Integrated Logistics Support, Program and Project Management Support. It requires the incumbent to provide support associated with CMAV, TSRA, installation, operation, repair, testing, and maintenance of naval or marine propulsion and auxiliary equipment and/or ordnance system. technical data packages and other data support, technical data conversion, and distribution/management of technical data.
This effort is in support of the C210 Division Branch, which supports C211 On-Site and Offsite CMAV and TSRA support, C211 Visit Support Team (VST) support, C212 METCAL support, and C213 General Branch operations support. Location: Norfolk VA, and CONUS and OCONUS sites Job Description: General description: Demonstrate a working knowledge of Navy assessment programs, visit processes and reporting methods. Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrate strong communication skills orally and in writing. Demonstrate knowledge and ability to traverse ships using US Navy deck, bulkhead, and compartment naming/numbering convention. Provide the technical services for surface TSRA visits to include the following: Availability Concurrent TSRA (ACT), Post-Deployment TSRA (PODT), Post-Availability TSRA (PAT), Pre-Deployment TSRA (PDT), Ballistic Missile Defense Readiness Assessment (BMDRA), Continuous Maintenance Availability (CMAV) and other Type Commander (TYCOM) Assessment Programs. Provide support to the MARMC C210 Branch. Support encompasses Continental United States (CONUS) and Out of Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. Provide technical support with multifaceted ASR contractor team supporting both onsite USN government and at other site locations. Provide technical support to the C210 Systems Branch, the Program Office, and the Program Field Offices. Support encompasses Continental United States (CONUS) and Out of Continental United States (OCONUS) locations. Represent MARMC C210 at various internal and external meetings in a professional manner. Requirements: Four (4) years' experience within last 10 years in such areas as computer program analysis, IT support in a naval technical library, design and development of management information systems, work breakdown structures, or work simplification techniques. (Desired) A minimum of two (2) of the years must have been working on Naval engineering projects including design, maintenance, repair, testing, installation, or ship upgrade of naval systems. Also desired is knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures supporting HM&E systems. Two (2) years' experience, within the last 5 years, in database management and concepts dealing with various computer languages and programs. (Desired) A minimum of one (1) of the years shall have been with the 3-M System (Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Current Ship's Maintenance Project (CSMP), Coordinated Shipboard Allowance list (COSAL), Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), and/or Ship Alteration (SHIPALT)/Fleet Modernization Plan (FMP) process. (Desired) Knowledge of relationships, policies, and procedures supporting shipboard maintenance between MARMC, NAVSEA, TYCOMS, Naval Shipyards, and SUPSHIP/IMA Organizations. Ability to communicate effectively with USN customer and contractor personnel at all levels. High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, suppliers, and visitors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Occasional travel required. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be a US Citizen.  An Active DOD SECRET Clearance is desired. Physical Demands: Requires walking, sitting, and standing periods of time. Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax, and other office equipment.
