Volt is immediately hiring for a Operations Administrator in Madera, CA.
As a Operations Administrator you will:
The Operations Administrator role plays a pivotal part throughout the whole Operations from supporting our Planners and Data Analysts to our Buyers and supply chain needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of production work orders by: Issuing material to a Work Order (IM) Closing General Ledger Work Orders Monitor/Investigate Work Order changes. Execute changes to work orders. Complete Inventory level adjustments. Correct Work Order labor. Cost Allocations. Sending daily metrics update. Clear old excess and obsolete. Variance Report (Daily) – Send WO's variance to Methods. Completing 09 (actual) WO's (Daily) – Complete/Close 02/09 WO's for Warehouse. Fixing WIP Amounts in WO's (as needed) – Fix amounts left in WIP for completed 02/09 WO's and move accordingly. Closing WO/WGs (Weekly) – Close out WO's and WG's to status 99, monitor aged WG's over 180 days. WO Fixes (Methods) (Weekly) – Fix WOs based on current, planned, and actual costs. Running daily time reports and tracks of the time we spend on projects, in the operations (productivity, efficiency and attainment, by WC and by area). Weekly Cycle Count/Variance Meeting (Weekly) – Run weekly cycle count update meeting and variance meeting to operations team. Absorption Hour Update (Daily) – Send out daily absorption hour update. Inventory Write-offs [i.e. Adjust (Daily/Monthly) – Clear out daily E&O list, and make E&O adjustments] Clear Daily E&O List [copy lines from daily E&O email and paste into JDE]. Handle the daily cycle counts and enter these into the system. Modify the daily metrics on received or recorded parts via the Manufacturing Orders (MO) tracker. Compile and distribute daily operations report and participate in daily handover meetings. EDUCTION AND SKILL QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Advance knowledge with JD Edwards systems Prior experience analyzing manufacturing operations, preferred. Experience working directly with shop floor employees, preferred. Attention to detail. Prior experience analyzing data and communicating with other departments. Effective leadership and the ability to work within a matrix team environment and contributes significantly to team performance. Interpersonal skills and effective communication across all functions. Strong effective verbal and written skills. Must be proficient with IT skills as a user, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning systems. Pay Rate: $18- $25 per hour
