The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Ottumwa, Iowa. Flexibility in schedule – scheduled 40 hours per week. Clinic Hours M- F 7:00am-6:30pm. See 18-20 patients/day. 15-minute acute visits, 30-minute chronic visits. 3 exam rooms Medical team includes 4 providers, 11 clinical support staff, 6 therapists, 1 psychiatrist, and 2 PMHNPs. Dental on site too! No call No weekends No hospital coverage What is a community health center? Community health centers are the nation's largest source of comprehensive primary care for medically under-resourced communities and populations. Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. Requirements MD or DO from an accredited educational institution. Licensed to practice medicine in Iowa. Benefits $240,000 - $310,000 salary + quality and productivity incentives $25k sign on bonus. Relocation allowance. Student loan repayment eligible - $75k for 2 years of service, more if bilingual in Spanish. Malpractice Insurance through FTCA. $3500 and 5 days for continuing education annually. Membership fees/dues for professional organizations paid. PTO + 8 paid holidays. 403B retirement with 5% match.
