Amazon is seeking an experienced and innovative Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join their Workplace Health & Safety teamThe OMR will be responsible for providing first aid and medical care to Amazon AssociatesThe OMR will also assist with workers' compensation and return to work process

Responsibilities
• Provide triage, first aid, and/or referral to outside medical providers• Minimize the risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement• Maintain records of care provided to Associates• Develop a first aid care plan for Associates recovering from an injury• Facilitate workers' compensation and return to work process for work-related injuries• Provide daily activity logs and end of shift reports• Interact and engage with Associates and managers to coach on observed at-risk work habits• Maintain a clean and orderly environment• Monitor and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory• Participate in special projects and ad hoc tasks• Willingness to be trained to teach first aid, CPR, and AED certification classes• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends• Communicate effectively and display professional behavior• Multitask and have exceptional time management skills• Work in an inclusive and diverse atmosphere• Follow direction, policy, and procedures• Maintain composure in emergencies and lead emergency response
Requirements
• High school or equivalent diploma• Valid certification of successful completion for AED, First Aid, and CPR from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross• Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certification or valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification• OR 6 months job experience as a Military Medical Technician, Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician• OR 6 months job experience in a care provider role and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Sciences, Exercise Physiology, Health Sciences, or Kinesiology• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training preferred• Proficient in Microsoft Office• Experience with industrial wellness program, coaching on body mechanics, managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, OSHA regulations, and Workers Compensation preferred• Proficient in digital recordkeeping
