We invite applications for an Online Adjunct Faculty position within the School of Social Work. This opportunity entails teaching in the online modalities of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and/or Master of Social Work programs, covering a diverse range of subjects such as human behavior in the social environment, research, generalist/clinical/macro practice, policy, social justice, and various elective topics.
Position Responsibilities:
Online Teaching:
Conduct three to five synchronous sessions per semester in the online format, delivering high-quality instruction.
Utilize learning management system, Canvas, for course management.
Develop engaging and informative weekly asynchronous videos to enhance the online learning experience.
Hold weekly virtual office hours to provide guidance and support to students.
Maintain timely and effective communication with students via written and oral channels.
Provide prompt feedback and grades to students.
Fulfill additional teaching duties as required, adhering to all and School of Social Work policies.
Position Details:
Part-time, non-benefited appointment.
Salary: $4,215 (3 credits) $1,405 per credit hour.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Demonstrated expertise and experience in social work or a related field; two years post-graduate degree preferred.
Teaching experience, preferably in higher education, with a focus on social work education or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively engage with a diverse student population.
Clinical licensure required for certain courses.
