The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new customers. They play a crucial role in creating a positive implementation experience for customers as they implement new modules. The Onboarding Specialists facilitates system activation through configuration, customer interaction and progress reporting.  This role documents requested requirements and provides tangible outputs through full configuration and reports. In this role, teamwork and collaboration make for a successful outcome. With expertise in advanced and complex customer implementations.   Key responsibilities of the Onboarding Specialist...    Guiding new customers through the onboarding process of small and mini projects and ensuring their successful integration into our products or services. 
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and technical support, to deliver a seamless and personalized onboarding experience. 
Help customers maximize the value of our tool for long term use through system configuration.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the onboarding process of activation and  small-scale projects.
Quality check public facing content such as but not limited to Portal updates, Decision Trees, Online Application, Vendor Registration.
Assist customers with the setup and configuration of their systems, providing step-by-step guidance as needed.
Proactively identify and address any potential barriers or challenges that may arise during the onboarding process.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer configuration or onboarding  issues or inquiries, escalating to the appropriate teams if necessary.
Configuration SME for all content and configurable options and modules.
Assist with maintaining up to date content in the configuration knowledge base.
Complete the configuration of our web-based system for tasks and activities which includes but is not limited to configuration toggles, notification templates, and web portal per customer specifications and industry standards.
Support completion of configuration tasks and activities within the tiered timeframe.
Communicate the status of configuration deliverables to internal and external customers in implementation systems for transparency.
Schedule meetings to seek clarity on configuration items from internal and external customers.
Full system testing to be sure conflicts do not exist in new and existing implementations.
Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth handover once the onboarding process is complete.
What we'd like you to bring to the table for this role... Bachelors degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience in customer onboarding, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand complex products or systems.
HTML formatting experience a plus.
Proficiency in SaaS software and other relevant tools.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities simultaneously.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and evolving business requirements.
Strong customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
