We are working with a client looking for a data analyst that has worked heavily with oil/gas data. This person will be looking at well-specific data including pressures, temperatures, gas volumes, etc.
Required:
3+ years of experience as a data analyst SQL and SSRS PowerBI Flowcal Understanding of gas analysis Background with measurement analyst and/or production accounting data Day to Day:
Develops data, reporting, and dashboarding solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes Create reports/dashboards to assist with timely/efficient company decisions   Continually assess systems, processes, and previously developed solutions to find opportunities for improvements. Maintains integrity of meter and volume information in measurement data system for assigned assets. Creates, reviews, and distributes various reports needed to validate the accuracy of measurement data. Provides meter factor trending by system with explanation of factors with variance for assigned assets. Possesses an understanding of gas measurement field practices, sampling and analysis, metering principles and measurement technology. Imports and evaluates meter proving, meter calibrations and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual obligations. Ensures daily and monthly volumes are validated and closed in a timely manner for uploading into accounting database. Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel and accounting groups. The client is eager to make this hiring decision. APPLY NOW!
