Office Manager @ Port 32 Marinas Location Hybrid remote in Charleston, SC : Headquartered in Charleston, SC, PORT 32 Marinas owns and operates nine high-profile marinas across Florida and is dedicated to elevating the boating experience. We seek intellectually honest, highly motivated, and dynamic individuals who bring diverse experiences and perspectives to their work. This is an in-office role with one hybrid/remote day per week. The Office Manager at PORT 32 plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of office management and supporting our leadership team. We are looking for a candidate with superior organization and communication skills who enjoys taking initiative. This multifaceted role requires the ability to multitask effectively and support various aspects of our business, including marketing, human resources, and IT. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who consistently manages change positively and productively. The Office Manager will report to the VP of Human Resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintain corporate office and ensure it is in good working order, tidy, and well-maintained. Manage office stock rooms and maintain kitchen, including stocking office supplies and pantry items with a focus on cost controls. Schedule office repairs, oversee office cleaning service, and maintain office plants. Greet visitors and vendors and project a positive image for the company. Regularly check/sort mail and ensure that important pieces are delivered to the correct individual. Arrange and coordinate all shipping needs, accept packages, and ensure they are delivered to the appropriate person/marina/restaurant. Manage business card orders. Support senior leadership with travel, logistics, research, memos, board meeting materials, and ad hoc projects as necessary. Build cross-functional relationships at all company levels to ensure an understanding of the business, leaders, and workflow. Provide communication support, such as writing and editing e-mails and marketing material, including our company newsletter. Support the human resource department and handle sensitive information with discretion. Plans office and team events throughout the year to foster a strong company culture and support growth. Support the marketing department with social media efforts, inventory fulfillment, and ad hoc projects. Collaborate with IT on all office and computer equipment and act as a liaison with marina teams to ensure tech needs are being met. Manage email signature and IT requests for new employees. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and familiarity with IT and office equipment, including computers, printers, and phones. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive and self-motivated with a 'no task is too small' mentality. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $47,000.00 per year
