ChristianaCare is looking for an Office Assistant.
ChristianaCare Women's Health at Christiana Hospital is located at 4755 Ogletown Stanton Road in Newark, Delaware. At ChristianaCare, women's health is our priority, and so is giving our patients the safest and most effective care when they need it using the best practices and technology available.
You will join a fantastic team consisting of four providers, four registered nurses, four medical assistants and two office assistants.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week
Mondays, 10am-8pm
2-3 Saturdays per month, shift will be 8am-2pm.
The remaining hours will be spent in the office to equal 40 hours working 8am-4:30pm.

Job duties & responsibilities:
Schedules appointments.
Answers multi line telephones and retrieves accurate messages.
Manages front desktop.
Collects payments according to insurance requirements.
Applies ICD9 & CPT4 codes to encounter forms for billing purposes.
Performs outreach calls for the team.
Interacts between physicians, staff, and patients to provide accurate communication and customer service.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
Performs other related duties as required.
Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required.
Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required.
