Office Administrative Professional Location Shakopee, MN : Minnesota Roadways Co. is a commercial asphalt paving and concrete company based out of the southern metro. As a multifaceted construction company, we consistently grow even in a slow economy and are always looking for experienced reliable team members to join our team. As an employee at Minnesota Roadways Co. you will work with our existing office administration staff to complete office tasks required for company success. Responsibilities Include:
Administrative Oversight: Daily office operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence. Support administrative staff in general tasks, including data entry, filing, managing mail, and supporting other departments as needed. Customer Service: Interact with customers by listening, understanding the request, and conveying the information to project management staff. Handle customers in a professional and timely manner. Positive representation of Minnesota Roadways Co. as required. Billing and Invoicing: Assist with daily project costings. Review supplier and subcontractor invoices. Involved with pay applications and monthly invoicing. Work with Project Managers to follow-up on payment schedules and past due invoices. Human Resources Support: Involved with the recruitment and onboarding of future employees. Assist with managing employee records, benefits administration, and time keeping. Manage Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and documentation. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain organized filing systems and databases to ensure easy retrieval of information. Manage company Certificate of Insurance and W9 compliance. Maintain company Department of Transportation files and compliance. Marketing Support: Maintaining marketing channels including a company website, Facebook page, mailed marketing flyers, and web-based advertising. Manage company advertising subscriptions and memberships. Creating and properly storing marketing materials. We offer the following benefits:

Ability to Increase hours during the construction season. Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiently compose emails to customers and governmental agencies. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, Sage Contractor, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign and general use of electronic files. Clear understanding and strong skills using Microsoft Excel. Strong work ethic. Team player. Excellent listening skills. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to talk intelligently and tactfully to coworkers and customers. Ability to accurately read and interpret contracts and government requirements a plus. Ability to pass drug screening. Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
