Salary Range: $50,000 - $100,000+Wayne Cycle Shop is seeking a highly motivated, tech savvy powersports technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have service experience in motorcycles (on and off road), ATVs, and side-by-side utility vehicles. Yamaha Gold Level, Honda Red Level, and/or Polaris, Harley, Husqvarna, GasGas, KTM and Kawasaki certified technicians are preferred. We also provide a dedicated parts-to-service team and an optional porter to improve flat-rate technician efficiency.JOB DUTIES: · Complete routine services including, but not limited to, oil & filter changes, tire mount & balance, and chain & sprocket replacement · Diagnose & repair powersports systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and braking to factory specifications · Perform preowned unit evaluations · Install accessories · Lift heavy objects and parts when necessary · Maintain a clean and organized work environment · Continually learn new technical information & techniques by completing online and in-class trainings per manufacturer guidelines · Explain mechanical diagnoses/required repairs in non-technical terms to service advisors & customersJOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: · Previous motorcycle, small engine, or automobile service experience · High school diploma or equivalent · Technical and/or mechanical aptitude · Ability to read technical diagrams · Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment used in powersports repair · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Basic computer skillsREQUIREMENTS: · Background check will be performed · Own your tools to perform the tasks required at your proficiency level · Valid driver license with a clean driving record · Motorcycle license is preferredBENEFITS: · Aggressive pay plans · Health insurance · 401K with company match · Paid vacation, holidays, and PTO · Employee discount · Comprehensive paid training with GasGas, Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, Yamaha, and/or others · Climate controlled work environmentAbout Wayne Cycle ShopWayne Cycle Shop is a family-owned & operated dealership located in Waynesboro, VA for over 50 years.
