We are looking for a highly motivated OEM Business Development Manager to join us and support the US East, including the US Federal segment, as well as Canada and Latin America. This role is responsible for supporting Elastic's efforts to build an elite ecosystem of Commercial Use partners who are highly strategic to the company's long-term goals.
The OEM Business Development Manager will recruit, enable, and support a network of OEM partners that will drive the sale of customer-facing, royalty-bearing solutions that embed Elastic. We want energetic, innovative, and results-oriented partner sales leaders.
What You Will Be Doing:

Identify, recruit, enable and manage OEM partners to support business goals and to execute partner sales strategies specific to the East region
Work closely with our direct sales teams to identify, qualify and onboard the right OEM partners, as well as managing ongoing forecast metrics for these partners
Negotiate and close new OEM contracts
Drive consistent and predictable OEM channel bookings through joint business planning and ongoing enablement of these partners
Collaborate with other members of Elastic's Channels and Alliances team to contribute to the overall channel strategy and prioritization plan for coverage area
What You Bring to Elastic:

Energetic, smart, self-directed, and passionate business development and channels professional
Experience recruiting, closing, enabling, and leading a network of OEM partners
Expertise in building channel networks from the ground up
Demonstrated success growing the impact of channel results through increased lead growth and bookings growth
Experience negotiating and closing new OEM agreements
Understanding of search analytics, IT observability and security - and the ability to learn quickly
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component, that together comprise the On-Target Earnings (OTE).

On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable).
The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below.

This range represents

the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.
