Job Description Position Title: (OCPP) Open Charge Point Protocol Architect/SME Location: Multiple locations Duration: Contract to hire Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement OCPP communication protocols for EV charging stations. Ensure compliance with OCPP specifications and standards. Design, code, test, and debug software applications related to OCPP. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure seamless communication. Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for OCPP protocols. Stay updated on the latest OCPP versions and implement necessary updates. Conduct thorough testing of OCPP implementations to ensure reliability and performance. Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address issues. Create and maintain technical documentation for OCPP implementations. Document code, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge transfer. Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers to achieve project goals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in software development with a focus on protocols, preferably OCPP. Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure and related technologies. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Python. Understanding of networking protocols and communication standards. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
