California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) seeks a Staff Services Manager I, Specialist (SSM I) in the Financial Office, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO).
Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, Supervisor, the SSM I will act as the OCFO Project Manager.

Special Requirements Statement of Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
Ability to lead and/or participate on branch-wide special projects and committees. Project management and project facilitation. Ability to work with all levels of management, including Senior and Executive level management. Experience demonstrating strong communication skills related to writing talking points, reports, memos, reviewing and editing documents, and/or developing PowerPoint presentations.
