About You and the Role:
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team and work on the assembly and testing of our autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and other subsea equipment. We need someone who shares our values and is driven by our purpose and mission. Most importantly, we're looking for a good human being with a low ego who cares about the future of our planet and is willing to take on the challenge with us.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on the electro-mechanical assembly for our AUV, including manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality control. You'll work closely with our cross-functional team of mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as our software and operations teams, to ensure that our vehicles are built to the highest standards. You'll also have the opportunity to grow and develop as a technician, learning new skills and taking on new challenges as we scale our operations.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or related field
Experience with hand and power tools
Experience with soldering and crimping techniques
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
Familiarity with basic electronics testing equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
Ability to lift 20 pounds
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must be local to the Bay Area or willing to relocate.
Bonus Experience:
Experience with subsea equipment or marine systems
Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems
Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical systems
Experience with quality control and documentation procedures
Experience with programming or scripting languages
