The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department. Description: Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patients ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of an Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to): Evaluating a patients condition and needs Developing treatment plans to address a patients needs and help them meet specific goals Assessing a patients home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patients needs and improve independence Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes Qualifications: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy or related discipline (Individuals who have obtained a bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy in the past are grandfathered in and may apply.)
