The Therapist provides patient care including evaluating the patient for treatment providing and directing administration of the care plan upon the referral from the physician. Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients. Instructs patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities. Assists with patient program management while delivering quality patient services.
Minimum: Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required. Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program required. Computer skills required. Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Card. Arizona State Occupational Therapy License. Preferred: Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical preferred. Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.
