Responsibilities
• Maintain readiness for Cesarean Section at all times while here• Scrub for Cesarean sections• Maintain cleanliness and setup of all three units• Assist in education of other obstetrical technicians• Demonstrate ways to enhance communication within the department and with stakeholders• Promote teamwork within the department and the organization• Resolve conflicts constructively and in a timely manner• Perform clerical duties such as computerized order entry and chart preparation• Provide patient care including vital signs, hygiene, and transfer• Assist with various procedures within scope of practice
Requirements
• Surgical tech certification, LPN/GPN licensure, or CNA certification• Experience working with perinatal, neonatal, or gynecological patients is a plus• Additional skills in secretarial, patient care, operative, and/or phlebotomy are beneficial
