Job summary
Hospital Based NSA & Call Center NSA provides meal delivery, menu selection and nutritional care services to the patient population.Milk Lab NSA is responsible for the daily operations of the Formula/Supplement Room including the preparation, distribution, and inventory of products.

Responsibilities
• Compiling and maintaining accurate records and information for patient menus• Processing menus, nourishment, and tube feeding needs• Updating patient preferences and special requests on the computer• Transporting food delivery carts to assigned nursing units• Collaborating with clinical dietitian and nursing staff to identify patients at nutritional risk• Performing daily operations of the Formula/Supplement Room• Using computer for accurate data entry• Processing orders and maintaining food safety compliance logs• Documenting recipes in EMR• Assisting Milk Lab Technicians with human milk receipt, processing, production, verification, and delivery
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent• Less than 1 Year of Food Service experience• Working knowledge of principles of current clinical nutrition and patient care• Ability to provide clear concise verbal and written instructions• Good organizational skills• Ability to work independently• Completion of the clinical education program
