Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment• Assist with the plan of care delegated by the staff nurse• Provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety criteria• Communicate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team• Maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, and credentials• Perform other related duties as required• Remain knowledgeable on laws, regulations, and standards• Report any unethical or questionable behaviors or conduct• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards• Adhere to Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Completed sophomore or junior year with hospital-based clinical rotation• Student in good standing with school of nursing• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association• Proficiency in computers, software, and web-based applications• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Strong interpersonal skills• Ability to use good judgement and monitor patient condition• Ability to adapt to change in a positive manner
