Responsibilities
• Provide basic nursing skills such as vital signs, blood glucose, ADLs, etc.• Document tasks and patient information in the appropriate system• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment• Follow proper hand hygiene and isolation protocols• Care for patients in restraints and provide patient education• Notify the RN of any changes or concerns about the patient• Perform assigned duties and demonstrate competence in the assigned unit
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Nursing• Completion of basic nursing skills class with documentation of competence• BLS Certification• Can work in this role for up to 90 days from graduation date
