Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. (Mallory CHC) is currently accepting applications for the NURSE PRACTITIONER position. The Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the medical provider team providing medical services to the patients of the Community Health Center. The Nurse Practitioner will provide health care services consistent with his/her education, and in keeping with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act; assist in the planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery according to the health care plan and written protocols; and provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within the context of a multidisciplinary team.
Mallory Health Center has five locations in Mississippi: Canton, Lexington, Durant, Greenwood and Tchula. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm and 8am-2pm on Fridays. Providers are expected to see a minimum of 16 patients a day in the office and are bonused on any patients over that number. The provider will typically have 36 hours of patient encounters and 4 hours of administrative time a week.
The qualified candidate shall also provide inpatient and/ or telehealth care services, assume "on call" after hours responsibilities. The Nurse Practitioner reports to, is supervised by, and is evaluated by the Chief Medical Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT: Proven nursing experience / Minimum Three Years of Experiences in Field and/or a Health-Related Agency or Facility.
